[ENG] The video sculpture Walking the Gerund Mountain (Montjuic bando port) shows the artist walking through Montjuïc, the mountain overlooking the port of Barcelona. In her walks we pass through different moments in the past and present history of the site, charged with violent symbolic structures. Gardens with imported palm trees, giant reeds growing next to a castle built to bombard the city, viewpoints for tourists, a 19th century cemetery for the bourgeoisie and a mass grave from the Civil War; on the other hand, scattered clothes, cuttings, radishes and cruising stalls.
