Daniela Ortiz: Auto Body, Group Show, Art Basel Miami. 04.12.14>07.12.14
Auto Body, a 4-day video and performance project, will debut on December 4, 2014 during Miami Art Week. Featuring works by 33 international female artists, with a focus on Miami based artists, the time-based project will include a dynamic installation of 25 videos and daily performance program. The exhibition will be staged at the defunct 7,500 square-foot Giant Motors:Auto Body &Paint Shop (1750 Bay Road, Miami Beach).
The exhibition features Daniela Ortiz' work "FDTD(forcible drugging to deport)" (2012), as well as works by artists such as: María José Arjona, Naomi Fisher, Regina josé Galindo, Eloise Fornieles, Paloma Izquierdo, Marie Karlberg, Cristina Lucas, Christina Pettersson and Cheryl Pope amongst others.
