(ENG) Featuring a selection of work by all the artists on its roster as well as by artists with whom 1MM has worked with in the past, the show is conceived to mark a turning point in the gallery’s programme and to evince 1MM’s engagement with the overwhelming reality of the current moment. A whole wave of sensations, ranging from a yearning for normality to worrying uncertainty and a sense of responsibility, has led us to interrupt the programming initially planned for the season just getting underway this month of September in order to make a pit-stop along the road and propose an exhibition that would explore “the new normality” as seen through the visions of the gallery artists. Our hope is that the exhibition will provide some clues that will help us face the future and understand what is happening.
(CAST) La muestra, que incluye a todos los artistas representados por la galería junto a otros con los que 1MM ha colaborado en el pasado, marca un punto de inflexión en la programación y evidencia el compromiso de 1MM con una realidad que nos abruma. Una marea de sensaciones, que van del deseo de normalidad a la incertidumbre y la responsabilidad, nos ha llevado a interrumpir la programación planteada para la temporada que se inicia este mes de septiembre para hacer un alto en el camino y proponer una exposición que explore “la nueva normalidad ”a través de la visión de los artistas de la galería. La idea es que la exposición nos de pistas para afrontar el futuro y empezar a entender lo que nos está sucediendo.
