(ENG) La doble retrospectiva "Harun Farocki / Christian Petzold" invita a explorar los territorios de dos de los cineastas alemanes más importantes de su generación. A partir de una concepción muy política del cine, Farocki (1944-2014) surge de la ficción y el documental desde 1967 hacia las mutaciones más contemporáneas de la imagen: ensayo fílmico, video, instalación y taller colaborativo, en más de ciento veinte obras cuya duración, tema y género son extremadamente variados. El realizador reflexiona sobre el trabajo, se pregunta sobre la visión humana y la de "máquinas para ver" y trabaja desde un retorno a la historia para hacer una "imagen dialéctica" en el sentido de Walter Benjamin .
(CAST)The double retrospective "Harun Farocki / Christian Petzold" invites you to explore the territories of two of the most important German filmmakers of a generation. From a very political conception of cinema, Farocki (1944-2014) emerges from fiction and documentary since 1967 towards the most contemporary mutations of the image: filmic essay, video, installation and collaborative workshop, in more than one hundred and twenty works whose duration, theme and gender are extremely varied. The filmmaker reflects on the work, asks about the human vision and the "machines to see" and works from a return to history to make a "dialectical image" in the sense of Walter Benjamin.
