(ENG) From Wednesday January 28 La Fábrica presents Gastrópoda by Joan Fontcuberta. A selection of works published for the first time in the artist's book that accompanies the latest issue of the magazine Matador. With Gatrópoda, the photographer, artist and essayist Joan Fontcuberta delves into the state of contemporary photography. Taking as his point of departure a variety of postcards degraded by nature, especially by snails, Fontcuberta reflects on the iconic environmental degradation, highlighting the physical support of the image and the notion of authorship.
(CAST) A partir del miércoles 28 de enero La Fábrica expone el trabajo de Joan Fontcuberta,Gastrópoda. Una selección de trabajos publicados por primera vez en el cuaderno de artista que acompaña al último volumen de la revista Matador.Con Gatrópoda, el fotógrafo, artista plástico y ensayista Joan Fontcuberta ahonda en el estado de la fotografía contemporánea. A partir de postales degradas por la naturaleza, especialmente los caracoles, Fontcuberta reflexiona sobre la degradación icónica del medio, poniendo de relieve el soporte físico de la imagen y la noción de autoría.
