Exhibition of Joan Fontcuberta, one of the most prominent Spanish photographers of the moment who has deeply thought about the photographic image. From his early career years he had been concerned with the ambiguity of images and how easy it is to suggest non-existent realities. His artistic creation has slowly left the photographic prose to go deep into a photographic poetry based on the reinterpretation of images from large works to domestic images. This time he brings three of his most interesting series to Chile: Orogeny, Gastrópoda and Googleramas.

Exposición de Joan Fontcuberta, uno de los fotógrafos españoles más destacados del momento y que más ha reflexionado sobre la imagen fotográfica. Desde sus inicios se preocupó de la ambigüedad de las imágenes y la facilidad que tienen por sugerir realidades inexistentes. Su creación artística poco a poco ha dejado la prosa fotográfica para ir adentrándose en una poesía fotográfica basada en la reinterpretación de las imágenes, desde las grandes obras hasta la imagen doméstica. En esta oportunidad trae a Chile tres interesantes series tituladas Orogénesis, Gastrópoda y Googleramas.
