[ENG] In "The Siren of Tormes" the artist invents the discovery of fossils of an unknown aquatic hominid species, the "Hydropithecus", which resembles the sirens described in mythological stories. The work is carried out using "fake" documentation, from a supposed news article ordered by Scientific American, and the testimonies of the geologist and priest Jean Fontana.

[CAST] En el trabajo “La Sirena de Tormes” el artista se inventa el descubrimiento de unos fósiles de una especie desconocida de homínidos acuáticos, “Hydropithecus”, parecidos a las sirenas de los cuentos. El trabajo se lleva a cabo mediante la “falsa” documentación de un supuesto reportaje encargado por Scientific American y por los testimonios del geólogo y sacerdote Jean Fontana.
