(CAST) Julia Martios es licenciada en Bellas Artes por la Universidad de Granada, con un máster en Producción Artística por la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. Especializada en el terreno audiovisual y fotográfico, forma parte del colectivo SCC, centrado en las prácticas cinematográficas experimentales, la videocreación y las nuevas narrativas audiovisuales. Su recorrido hasta la actualidad ha combinado la producción artística personal con  experiencias profesionales relativas a la gestión, coordinación y programación de proyectos culturales como su última estancia en el Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA) Glasgow, 2018 (Beca Culturex).

En relación con su práctica artística, ha cultivado una continua mirada al archivo, al cuerpo, y a su presencia en el espacio fílmico y/o teatral, interesándose por las interconexiones entre lenguajes coreográfico y cinematográfico. Su obra se ha expuesto en lugares como Nueva York, Leipzig, Lisboa o Latinoamérica, además de en museos nacionales como el Reina Sofía de Madrid, el MARCO en Vigo, el CAC en Málaga, o el CCCB en Barcelona, así como en espacios escénicos como el Antic Teatre Barcelona 2018, el Festival Mes de Danza de Sevilla 2017, la Sala Albéitar de León 2017, C3A Córdoba 2017, o el Festival Danzamos en Conde Duque 2015.

(ENG) Julia Martios has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Granada, and a Masters in Artistic Production from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Specialising in the audiovisual and photographic field, she is a member of the SCC collective, which focuses on experimental film practices, video creation and new audiovisual narratives. Her career to date has combined personal artistic production with professional experiences in the management, coordination and programming of cultural projects, such as her latest stay at the Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA) Glasgow, 2018 (Culturex Scholarship).

In relation to her artistic practice, she has cultivated a continuous look at the archive, the body, and its presence in the film and/or theatre space, taking an interest in the interconnections between choreographic and cinematographic languages.
