Homeland is an installation of a thousand photographs and one video. In th work, a photograph, a snapshot taken in a domestic interior, has been literally torn into a thousand shreds. The thousand fragments are brought together in a video that attempts to reconstruct the original image. But the original image is lost forever and the only way of accessing it is through the fragments that appear in two forms: the installation of the thousand photographs and the video that brings them together like a film.
