In a 16mm movie negative the images are arranged in vertical succession.
In La Ferme, the images are reorganized in a horizontal sequence which evokes the gesture of the panoramic capture that actually takes place in the recorded sequence. The transformation of the negative invites the spectator to enact a panoramic observation which recalls the camera movement during the shot.
