This installation executed at the Ferme du buisson in Noisel, France, consists on 34 suspended “frames” each covered by gelatines of various colours. The viewers determine how their image will be projected on the screen. Through the play of colours which absorb the light each viewer sees other viewers as moving silhouettes. The invitation the artist extends to the viewer to become an actor allow us to talk about relational aesthetic in most of Snow’s installation pieces.
CAST
Esta instalación, ejecutada en el Ferme du buisson en Noisel, Francia consiste de 34 “bastidores” suspendidos, cada uno cubierto por gelatinas multicolor. Los espectadores determinan como su imagen será proyectada sobre el tamiz. A través de un juego de colores que absorbe la luz, cada espectador ve a otros espectadores como perfiles en movimiento. El artista le extiende la invitación al espectador a transformarse en un actor, lo cual nos permite hablar sobre la estética relacional en la mayoría de las instalaciones de Snow.
