The series depicts suspended microparticles released after the breakage of a Renaissance marble sculpture, forming a new, intangible sculpture in themselves. Each drawing is composed by thousands of minute graphite points, representing a moment of the ephemeral cluster of mineral aerosols, before precipitating to the ground hours or days after their release. Each pencil mark strikes the paper like a hammer, sometimes perforating it, producing micro-grains of different sizes that gather into constellations as they swirl.
