[ENG] I am interested in the relationship between the body and architectural structures, in both, the physical and mental relationship that is established with the spaces we occupy. I analyse how the characteristics of these structures affect our daily behaviour and determine the way we perceive the environment and, therefore, how we relate to it. I try to address this relationship through sculpture, taking on questions of form, materiality and appearance. In fact, I think of sculpture as the materialisation of this relationship, as the fusion of the body with an architectural structure. (Mònica Planes)

[CAST] Me interesa la relación del cuerpo con las estructuras arquitectónicas, la relación —ya sea física como mental— que se establece con los espacios que ocupamos. Analizo como las características de estas estructuras afectan nuestro comportamiento diario y determinan la forma en que percibimos el entorno y, por tanto, cómo nos relacionamos. Intento hacer frente a esta relación a través de la escultura, asumiendo cuestiones de forma, material y aspecto. De hecho, pienso la escultura como la materialización de esta relación, como la fusión del cuerpo con la estructura arquitectónica. (Mònica Planes)

Intento fer front a aquesta relació a través de l'estructura, assumint qüestions de forma, material i aspecte.
