[ENG] The Brussels Flea Market is an ephemeral monument. It is assembled and disassembled every day. Three hundred and sixty-five market days. Vendors arrive with their wares early in the morning, organize them, and the show begins. The succession of stalls draw a series of streets through which customers walk in search of treasures. Up and down. Everyone has their favorite route. Through main roads and parallel roads. At noon, the vendors collect everything that they have not sold. Without leaving a trace of its passing, the Market becomes a parking lot until the next morning. The before, the during and the after. The ordinary, the apparent and the exceptional. All the stories it contains even if we are not able to decipher them. The characters that inhabit it. The tours. The memory. Time. All this represented from a 24-hour aerial view. Cuento de Verano works like a clock, synchronizing the time of the market with the time of the exhibition space.

[CAST] Trescientos sesenta y cinco días de Mercado. Un monumento efímero que se monta y desmonta cada día. Los vendedores llegan con sus mercancías temprano por la mañana, organizan sus productos y empieza el espectáculo. La sucesión de paradas, dibujan una serie de calles por las que transitan los clientes a la búsqueda de tesoros. El antes, el durante y el después. Lo ordinario, lo aparente y lo excepcional. Todas las historias que contiene, aunque no seamos capaces de descifrarlas. Los personajes que lo habitan. Los recorridos. La memoria. El tiempo. Todo ello representado desde una vista aérea de 24 horas de duración. Entre el retrato, y la video vigilancia. Cuento de verano funciona como un reloj, sincronizando la hora del mercado con la hora del espacio expositivo.
