(CAST) Esta obra se mostró por primera vez en la exposición “El llano múltiple” (2012), proyecto que confirmaba y a asentaba algunos de los intereses y temas que la artista venía desarrollando en los últimos años como el paisaje vinculado a la experiencia turística y cinematográfica o la reflexión sobre el recuerdo y la mirada. En esta ocasión, Solar presentó una instalación y una serie de fotografías, de las que esta obra forma parte, basadas en un elemento particular: una casa situada en Currant, un pueblo minero fantasma en el desierto de Nevada, que sólo tiene la mitad de su estructura todavía en pie.
(ENG) This work was shown for the first time at the exhibition "El llano múltiple" (2012), a project that confirmed and established some of the interests and themes that the artist had been developing in recent years, such as the landscape linked to the tourist and cinematographic experience or the reflection on memory and the gaze. On this occasion, Solar presented an installation and a series of photographs, of which this work is a part of, based on a particular element: a house located in Currant, a ghost mining town in the Nevada desert, which only has half of its structure still standing.
