(CAST) Con esta muestra, comisariada por Valentín Roma, Daniel G. Andújar investiga aquellas utopías que, desde el campo del arte, aspiraban a construir una estética de la clase trabajadora y cuáles fueron los asaltos al ímpetu revolucionario por parte del poder normalizador, así como qué desbordamientos y qué luchas siguen pendientes de transitarse.
Realizada en cooperación con el Centre del Carme de Valencia y el MNCARS de Madrid, esta muestra reúne un conjunto de cuarenta proyectos realizados por Daniel G. Andújar desde 1990 hasta la actualidad, trece de ellos específicamente concebidos para La Virreina Centre de la Imatge.
(ENG) In this exhibition, curated by Valentín Roma, Daniel G. Andújar investigates those utopias that, from the field of art, aspired to construct an aesthetics of the working class, what assaults were made on the revolutionary impetus by the normalising power, and what overflows and struggles remain pending to be traversed.
This project has been produced in cooperation with the Centre del Carme in Valencia and the MNCARS in Madrid. The exhibtion brings together forty projects carried out by Daniel G. Andújar from 1990 to the present, thirteen of them specifically conceived for La Virreina Image Centre.
