The works in “Vista View” are grouped around landscape and its abstraction, or alternately abstractions oriented toward terrain and space (as opposed to gesture with its invocation of figure). Daniela Ortiz comes up against real enemies in different ways, one imaginative, looking to the future, one directly confrontational. Ortiz’s “97 House Maids” casts the dehumanization of domestic labor back at the most cherished possession of the ruling class, its children, while the “1st of May Camp” broadcasts owners’ homes in the workers’ quarters as a public threat to this order of property.

Las obras de "Vista View" se agrupan en torno al paisaje y su abstracción, o alternativamente a abstracciones orientadas hacia el terreno y el espacio (en contraposición al gesto con su invocación de figura). Daniela Ortiz se enfrenta a enemigos reales de diferentes maneras, una imaginativa, otra que mira hacia el futuro, otra que confronta directamente. "97 empleadas domésticas" de Ortiz pone en relieve la deshumanización del trabajo doméstico a la posesión más preciada de la clase dominante, sus hijos, mientras que con "Campamento 1 de mayo" muestra imágenes a gran escala de las casas de los dueños de minas en Perú en los barrios de los trabajadores de la mina como una amenaza pública a este orden de propiedad.
