(CAST) Con Imaginary Friends (Amigos Imaginarios) Gaussi alude a su capacidad de conjurar objetos del hogar en lo desconocido. Cuando la artista se trasladó de Berlín a San Franciscotuvo que enfrentarse de nuevo con sentimientos de extrañeza e invisibilidad. Así que creó una serie de figuras con objetos y materiales que encontró en las calles de Bayview y el distrito vecino de Mission, que ahora se muestra al completo por primera vez.
(ENG) In Imaginary Friends Gaussi alludes to her ability to conjure up elements of home in the unfamiliar. When the artist moved from Berlin to San Francisco she was again confronted with feelings of foreignness and invisibility. So she created a series of figures with objects and materials that she found on the streets of Bayview and the neighbouring Mission district, now on show as a whole for the first time.
