(ENG) This exhibition stems from of a selection of works from Tatxo Benet's “Censored collection” at the Centre d'Art la Panera. It aims not only to highlight the atrocities that, for various reasons, have been concealed in different parts of the world, but also, it helps us to visualise, through a challenge, censorship as an atrocity in itself. More than a ghost from the old totalitarian regimes or the remote Holy Inquisition, the complexity of censorship in contemporary societies makes it necessary to refine our understanding of its multiplication of faces.

(CAST) La exposición de una selección de las piezas de la colección “Censored”, de Tatxo Benet, en el Centre d’Art la Panera pretende no solo incidir en la visualización de las atrocidades que, por motivos distintos, se han ocultado en diferentes puntos del mundo, sino visualizar, a modo de reto, la propia censura en tanto que atrocidad. Más que un fantasma procedente de los antiguos regímenes totalitarios o de la remota Santa Inquisición, la complejidad que presenta la censura en las sociedades contemporáneas hace necesario afinar en la comprensión de su multiplicación de caras.
