[CAST] La exposición 'Joan Fontcuberta: Ad Litteram' presenta dos series recientes del artista:'Googlegramas' (2005) en la cual el artista nos invita a interrogarnos sobre el todo poderoso buscador Google y desmonta el mito de archivo universal, subrayando las distintas formas de control y filtraje de la información.
En su serie más reciente, 'Deletrix' (2010), el artista se refiere de manera más literal a actos de censura y de violencia cometidos contra el documento escrito. En este corpus de obras, Joan Fontcuberta fotografía documentos del patrimonio universal tales como las páginas de los 'Adagios de Erasmus' (en su versión latina y conservados en la Biblioteca de la Universidad de Salamanca) que han padecido actos de censura, por borrones intencionados o bien por quemaduras o tachaduras, principalmente en el contexto de la censura inquisitorial.

[ENG] The exhibition 'Joan Fontcuberta: Ad Litteram' presents two of the artist's most recent series: 'Googlegramas' (2005) in which the artist invites us to think about the all-powerful Google search engine and dismantle the myth of the universal archive, different forms of control and the filtering of information.
In his most recent series, 'Deletrix' (2010), the artist refers more literally to acts of censorship and violence committed against the written document. In this corpus of works, Joan Fontcuberta photographs documents of the universal heritage such as the pages of the 'Adagios de Erasmus' (in their Latin version and preserved in the Library of the University of Salamanca) that have suffered acts of censorship, Or by burns or erasures, mainly in the context of inquisitorial censorship.
