(CAST) Vida de O es un proyecto expositivo de Lúa Coderch que surge como un intento de repensar aquello que entendemos como humano a través de la objetualidad que nos rodea y que afecta a la construcción de nuestra identidad.
Frente a las estrategias de atribución a los objetos de rasgos humanos como un intento de dar vida a lo supuestamente inerte –todavía herencia del privilegio antropocéntrico–, el ejercicio que aquí se propone es el opuesto, aunque complementario: una transposición de atributos, percepciones y sensibilidades que van desde el objeto a lo humano. Hecha, como no puede ser de otro modo, desde la ironía. Si, como dice Michel Serres, el sujeto nace del objeto, ¿cuáles son las diferentes modalidades de sujeto que podemos establecer a través de nuestra relación social con los objetos? ¿Qué atributos de lo inerte aparecen en nosotros? ¿Qué similitudes se dan entre objeto y humano? ¿Cómo funcionan estas atribuciones y cuáles son las manifestaciones ideológicas que las impulsan? ¿Podrían los objetos establecer una relación empática con nosotros? ¿Pueden el lenguaje y el habla extraviar sus connotaciones humanas? ¿Es posible resistirse a la autoridad del discurso y, en consecuencia, pensar realmente desde un paradigma diferente al “nuestro”? Para estas preguntas Vida de O no busca tanto ofrecer una respuesta como invocar una zona gris en la que la distinción entre sujeto y objeto, presentación y representación, abandonen el hábito dialéctico gracias a un espacio intermedio y conscientemente borroso.
(ENG) Vida de O is a project by Lúa Coderch that arises as an attempt to rethink what we understand as human through the objetuality that surrounds us and that affects the construction of our identity.
Faced with the strategies of attributing human features to objects as an attempt to give life to the supposedly inert - still an inheritance of anthropocentric privilege - the exercise proposed here is the opposite, albeit complementary: a transposition of attributes, perceptions and sensibilities ranging from the object to the human. Made, as it cannot be otherwise, from irony. If, as Michel Serres says, the subject is born from the object, what are the different modalities of subject that we can establish through our social relationship with objects? What attributes of the inert appear in us? What similarities exist between object and human? How do these attributions work and what are the ideological manifestations that drive them? Could objects establish an empathic relationship with us? Can language and speech lose their human connotations? Is it possible to resist the authority of discourse and, consequently, really think from a paradigm different from "our"? For these questions Vida de O does not seek so much to offer an answer as to invoke a grey zone in which the distinction between subject and object, presentation and representation, abandon the dialectical habit thanks to an intermediate and consciously blurred space.
