Special Art Project for Havas Media
Peter Downsbrough's project for Havas Media consists in four photographs from four different cities: Barcelona, London, New York and Paris. His main interest is to capture urban spaces in order to reveal the city structure, and to manage this he avoids recognisable places as much as he can. The space structure and the arquitecture are very important in all of his works; his photographs are always taken in black and white due to his believe that working in b/w helps one focus on its structure and on its content. His pieces are carefully constructed and nothing is casual in them.
