(ENG) Vicens Vacca is a catalan artist born in 1954 in Granollers (Barcelona). He is the first son of the Jazz musician Vicens Vacca Roca, and lived in a family atmosphere that was permanently enveloped in the beat and music. His first artistic works were during the eighties and he has been active since then, working different aspects of conceptual art, particularly in the audio field. The artist has exhibited his projects individually or collectively with other artists in different spaces such as the MACBA Museum, La Capella, the Art Centre Santa Monica, La Caixa Foundation and the Teatre Lliure (Barcelona); the space Guinovart in Agramunt (Lleida), the palace Ducal dels Borja (Gandia), the MNCARS of the Helga de Alvear Gallery (Madrid) and Play Gallery (Berlin). Vacca has collaborated with contemporary artists such as Pep Durán, Carlos Pazos, Javier Peñafiel, Pep Agut or Jordi Benito.
(CAST) Vicenc Vacca es un artista catalán nacido en 1954 en Granollers (Barcelona). Hija del músico de Jazz Vicens Vacca Roca, creció en un entorno musical y bohemio. Sus primeras manifestaciones artísticas fueron durante la década de los 80 y, desde entonces, sigue trabajando diferentes aspectos del arte conceptual, en especial el sonido. El artista ha expuesto sus proyectos de manera individual o colectiva con otros artistas en diferentes espacios como el MACBA, La Capella, el Centre d'Art Santa Mònica, la Fundación 'La Caixa' o el Teatre Lliure (Barcelona); el Espacio Guinovart de Agramunt (Lleida), el Palacio Ducal de los Borja (Gandia), el MNCARS o la Galería Helga de Alvear (Madrid) y la Galería Play (Berlín). Entre los artistas contemporáneos con los que ha colaborado destacan Pep Duran, Carlos Pazos, Javier Peñafiel, Pep Agut o Jordi Benito.
