Daniel G Andújar (Solo show):"Los Desastres de la Guerra, Caballo de Troya", Centro del Carmen de Cultura Contemporánea, Valencia. 03.03.18 > 09.04.18
(ENG) Caballo de Troya (Trojan horse) is part of the series of artifacts that make up the Disasters of War project that Daniel G. Andújar presented in the last dOCUMENTA 14 in Athens and Kassel.
On this occasion, the project wants to pay tribute to the memory of the members of the Board of the Artistic Treasury during the Spanish Civil War and its collaborators, who played an important role in the rescue of our Artistic Treasure. Their dedication preserved much of our heritage from the bombings and disasters of the war. Many of these treasures were transferred to Valencia, to the deposits authorized for the works in the Serranos Towers and in the Patriarch's College.
This project is a preview of the Daniel G. Andújar Operating System exhibition that will take place at the Center del Carme Cultura Contemporània in October 2018.
(CAST) Caballo de Troya forma parte de la serie de artefactos que configuran el proyecto Los Desastres de la Guerra que Daniel G. Andújar presentó en la pasada dOCUMENTA 14 en Atenas y Kassel.
En esta ocasión el proyecto quiere rendir un tributo a la memoria de los miembros de la Junta del Tesoro Artístico durante la Guerra Civil y a sus colaboradores, quienes desempeñaron un papel relevante en el salvamento de nuestro Tesoro Artístico. Su dedicación preservó gran parte de nuestro patrimonio de los bombardeos y los desastres de la guerra. Muchos de estos tesoros fueron trasladados a Valencia, a los depósitos habilitados para las obras en las Torres de Serranos y en el Colegio del Patriarca.
Este proyecto es un anticipo a la muestra Sistema Operativo de Daniel G. Andújar que tendrá lugar en el Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporània en octubre de 2018.
