(ENG) Cecilia Bengolea presents with this piece a multiple work: she shares her research on dancehall culture in Jamaica and juxtaposes the images of a choreography created with the Jamaican national synchronized swimming steam. Between triptych performances and fifteen-metre wide panoramic views, the artist depicts a spiritual culture of movement aimed at creating a sense of elevation. Weather conditions, fauna and flora, land and water, and the particular urban environment are all elements of choreographed dance and swimming that often imitate nature and embody spirits through gesture. The choreographies and the vibrations of the music and the natural sound environment - perceptible on the ground as well as in the water - give rise to forms of communal rituals, which lead to other states of consciousness.

(CAST) Con esta obra una obra de Cecilia Bengolea ahondamos en su investigación sobre la cultura del dancehall como parte de la cultura jamaicana, juxtaponiendo las imágenes de una coreografía creada con el equipo nacional jamaicano de natación sincronizada. Entre las actuaciones en tríptico y las vistas panorámicas de quince metros de ancho, la artista enfatiza la espiritualidad que yace en la cultura del movimiento orientada para crear un cierto sentido de elevación espiritual. Las condiciones meteorológicas, la fauna y la flora, la tierra y el agua, y el particular entorno urbano son todos ellos elementos de la danza coreografiada y la natación que a menudo imitan la naturaleza y encarnan los espíritus a través de los gestos. Las coreografías y las vibraciones de la música y el entorno sonoro natural, perceptibles tanto en el suelo como en el agua, dan lugar a formas de rituales comunitarioss, que conducen a otros estados de conciencia.
