(ENG) The phonetic coincidence between the English grammatical construction "in voice" and the word "invoice" proposes a semantic game of transpositions that problematizes and directs its attention to one of the aspects in the making of a work of art or an exhibition: the cost of production. Invoice shows the adaptation and execution, sung acording to the Gregorian form, of all the textual information included in the bills issued by the different participant agents in the production of the work. These, which enunciate all the tax data and enumerate the included expenses, have been translated into latin, the natural language of Gregorian chant. By means of this action, the complex relations between artist and institution, subjectivity and dogma, opacity and transparency or between coherence and spectacle, among others, are adducted and exposed through a singing the beauty of which, nevertheless, prevails above the whole of mundane dilemmas in which any artistic process is subject to... Or not: the spectator is the one who must decide between letting himself be carried away by the lifting force of the voices or clinging to an inquisitive and earthly attitude that ultimately constitutes the dominant critical position our current context, but which can sometimes also be submitted to judgment.

(CAST) La coincidencia fonética entre la construcción gramatical inglesa in voice (en voz) y la palabra “invoice” (factura) propone un juego semántico y de trasposiciones que indirectamente dirige su atención hacia uno de los aspectos problematizables en una obra de arte: el coste de producción. Invoice muestra la adaptación y ejecución cantada en forma gregoriana de toda la información textual comprendida dentro de las facturas emitidas por los distintos agentes participantes en la producción. Estas, traducidas al latin, lengua propia del canto gregoriano, enuncian los datos fiscales y enumeran todos los gastos habidos en la producción de la propia obra (Invoice). Mediante esta acción, las complejas relaciones entre entre artista e institucion, subjetividad y dogma, opacidad y transparencia o coherencia y espectaculo, entre otras, son aducidas y expuestas a través de un canto cuya belleza, sin embargo, prevalece sobre el conjunto de dilemas mundanos en los que toda produccién artistica se dirime...O no. Es el espectador quien debe decidir entre dejarse llevar por la fuerza elevadora del canto o aferrarse a una actitud inquisitiva y terrenal que en definitiva constituye la postura critica dominante en nuestro contexto actual, pero que en ocasiones puede ser también sometida a juicio.
